Chanel M. Murray
President and Founder
Chanel M. Murray is the visionary founder and president of Twelve 27 Sixteen Ministries. With a strong background in social services and nonprofit management, Chanel holds two Associate of Arts degrees, one in Social Human Services. Since 2005, she has worked as a disability claim specialist for the federal government, gaining extensive experience in navigating complex social service systems. Chanel's dedication to helping others extends to her community, where she actively participates in her church and donates both her time and financial resources. She is also known for her involvement in her children's athletic activities, often taking on the role of team mom. Chanel's personal experiences with family trauma have fueled her passion for creating a support system for families facing similar challenges. Her leadership and vision are the driving
forces behind Twelve 27 Sixteen Ministries.
Tommy T. Murray
Vice President
Tommy T. Murray brings a youthful and dynamic perspective to Twelve 27 Sixteen Ministries. As a dedicated basketball player, Tommy has demonstrated commitment and teamwork both on and off the court. He is currently in his final year at Cerritos Community College, where he will graduate with an Associate of Arts degree in Business.
Tommy is also an apprentice with the local 250 union, working for oil refineries as a contractor and training to become a pipe fitter. His hands-on experience in the workforce and his academic background in business make him a valuable asset to the board. Tommy's dedication to his family and community, combined with his drive to succeed, aligns perfectly with the organization's mission to support families in crisis.

Chanel J. Murray
Secretary and Treasurer
Chanel J. Murray serves as both the treasurer and secretary for Twelve 27 Sixteen Ministries, bringing her analytical and organizational skills to the board. She holds a Bachelor of Arts and Associate of Arts degree in Political Science from California State University, Long Beach, and an Associate of Arts degree in Political Science from Long Beach City College.
In high school, Chanel was an active athlete, excelling in volleyball and basketball. She currently works as a Contact Service Representative for the Social Security Administration, where she applies her knowledge of public policy and social services daily. Chanel's academic achievements and professional experience equip her with the skills to manage the organization's finances and administrative tasks efficiently. Her dedication to public service and family-driven approach make her an integral part of the board.
